I have many years of professional experience to teach students of all levels - from beginner to advanced. In the last 5 years alone, I have taught graduate voice students at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, preparing international students for the Master of Vocal Performance postgraduate course there. I'm also teaching less experienced singers at Little Beethovens Music School, and have recently joined Gateshead College supporting music, drama and dance students with their vocal needs. At my Simply-Sing studio, I offer personalised lessons in singing, songwriting and music theory, online or in-person.

Having been a signed songwriter and trainee composer during my undergraduate degree, my Master's degree consolidated all my knowledge as I returned to my rock and popular roots by composing a rock opera of The Musical Picture of Dorian Gray (written by Oscar Wilde and Lee M-T). After some excellent guidance from top industry professional, Gavin Taylor, this work is currently being rerecorded with celebrity musicians including Paul Thompson on drums (Roxy Music) and other notable musicians currently underway. While I still write songs that are short n sweet (3mins duration), this ambitious project (106mins) is my passion project.
Signed to WOW records and the Jeff Wayne Music Group, London, as a singer/songwriter. Jeff had to personally accept 15 original songs in order to complete this songwriting deal!
Working with Jeff was inspiring and ultimately lead to Lee writing a rock opera of her favourite book The Picture Of Dorian Gray.
Rocked with a live band in front of a live audience, who always participated in the songs.
Released by Compound Records, Lee featured as a guest vocalist on the production team's original House track which was played in prominent US nightclubs.
An original pop music duo that played all over the country on roadshows and named tours, including being the first unsigned act to play The Royal Albert Hall, London. Lee always sang live and engaged large audiences of 3,000+ who would singalong to the duo's original songs.
Won a total of £5,000 in prize money in two music competitions playing completely live in front of a live audience, and, judged by John Miles, the legendary musician behind, “Music Was My First Love”.
